About the Campaign

During the holiday season, we experience amazing generosity from our community as tens of thousands of pounds of food are donated. But the need for healthy food and personal care items for people who are struggling is there year-round.

PRISM relies on donations throughout the year to continuously meet the needs of the 700+ families who visit us each month.

The MN FoodShare March Campaign is an annual tradition that raises awareness, food/hygiene items, and cash donations for PRISM and other food shelves to ensure people in our community get the support they deserve.

The campaign is organized by the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, which will reward our efforts this year with a grant; the more pounds and dollars we receive during the campaign, the larger the grant we will earn!

Cash and food/hygiene items donated to PRISM from February 26 through April 6 will count toward our goal of 150,000 combined pounds and dollars.

Help us fill our new food shelf, which opened March 19!

Items needed most include: flour, sugar, cooking oil, peanut butter and jelly, pasta and sauce, canned tuna and chicken, baby food, personal hygiene items, and cash donations.
