SCHOOL SUPPLIES
When "Back to School" time comes around, many families find they aren't able to afford all the supplies their children's schools require. And even if they've been able to stock up at the low back-to-school sale prices, by the time they need refills, the prices have gone back up.
PRISM's member churches hold school supply drives each July and August to gather needed materials for children returning to school. Additionally, PRISM keeps an ongoing inventory of school supplies for families to access as their children need more.
Eligibility Requirements
- Families wishing to receive school supplies must have school-aged children.
- Families must live in Golden Valley; South of 42nd Avenue in Crystal, New Hope, or Robbinsdale; East of 494 in Plymouth

Exceptions--PRISM will serve families referred by local churches, currently homeless or PRISM clients in other programs that may serve other geographical areas - then, if appropriate, refer to other providers
School Supply Appointments
School supplies are almost always available to students. They can be obtained in conjunction with food shelf, financial assistance or other appointment. However, a family can schedule an appointment for school supplies only if they need to.
