NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS

The Mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors is to assist homesteaded property owners in Golden Valley to identify and correct property maintenance issues, providing for the safety of the residents and/or bring the homestead into compliance with minimum exterior standards.  This program helps homeowners in Golden Valley who can't do needed home repairs because of financial or physical challenges.

If you need affordable help with home maintenance and live in Golden Valley, contact Neighbors Helping Neighbors at PRISM (763-529-1350).  Staff will start the process by helping:

• identify and detail maintenance needs
• identify possible funding sources, including
  Minnesota Housing Finance Loans
• link homeowners to a network of volunteers and independent contractors to help do the work

Neighbors Helping Neighbors is a collaboration between PRISM, H.O.M.E. program of Senior Community Services, Calvary Lutheran Church, Valley Community Presbyterian Church, and the City of Golden Valley.
