On Thursday, May 19, 2016, PRISM will host its biggest fundraising event of the year: our 3rd annual "Taste of the 'Burbs"! 

This event generates significant revenue to support PRISM's food, housing and clothing assistance programs, which ensure that our most vulnerable, marginalized community members receive dignified, immediate and tangible help. 

Register today and join 300 civic leaders, friends and other PRISM supporters for an evening of:

  • delicious food and desserts from Nonna Rosa’s, Benihana, Frankie’s, Pickles, Culver’s, Nothing Bundt Cake, Milton's, D'Amico and Sons, The Lone Grazer and Red Tail Meat Company
  • silent and live auctions
  • live music
  • a celebration of PRISM’s past, a look at PRISM’s future…and more!

This year's event sponsors include: Best Buy, MN Twins, Central Bank, Cub Foods, Herring Legal, Jaguar Land Rover of Minneapolis, and Valley Community Presbyterian Church.

This event sells out every year, so we’ve increased capacity for the 2016 event by approximately 100 seats!

When is the event?

Our 2016 Taste of the ‘Burbs will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016, from 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM. From 5–7 you’ll enjoy food, drinks, silent auction, and live music. From 7–8 we’ll facilitate a wonderful program and live auction. Then stay and mingle until 8:30!

How do I register?

Click here to purchase and reserve your table(s) and/or single seat(s). 

May I reserve a space, but  pay at the door?

Due to the high demand in previous years, tickets must be purchased prior to the event. Paying at the door is not an option this year.

What are the ticket prices?

There are four ticket options this year: VIP Table Package ($750), VIP Single Seat Package ($75), Table ($550), Single Seat ($55).

What is included in the VIP package?

A limited number of VIP Table Packages and VIP Single Seat Packages are available.

VIP Table Packages include:

  • premier table location
  • seating for 10 total guests at the table
  • two complimentary bottles of wine for the table
  • specialty dessert at the table
  • table signage recognizing the host name/company

VIP Single Seat Packages include:

  • seating at a premier VIP table
  • complimentary glass of wine at the table
  • specialty dessert at the table

What if I purchase Single VIP Seat(s) or Single Seat(s) and wish to be seated at the same table as others who register/purchase seats separately?

After you have completed your registration contact kalsey.beach@gmail.com and provide the names of the people with whom you wish to sit. Please note that you must purchase a VIP Single Seat Package(s) if you wish to sit with others at a VIP table. 

Is the cost of my table(s) or seat(s) tax-deductible?

No, the fee for your event ticket is not a tax-deductible contribution.

How do I get to the Sheraton West?

The recently remodeled Sheraton West is located at 12201 Ridgedale Drive, Minnetonka, MN 55305. Click here for a map to the location. (Please note, the hotel is called the Sheraton Minneapolis West Hotel, but it is located in Minnetonka.)

What is the dress code for this event?

This is not a formal, black tie affair; just dress for a special night out.
